Many are the memories
Of the man we all once knew;
Kind and gentle and a little shy,
A good cowboy, too.

Rode the trails with other guys,
Who’s friendship he valued true;
And knew within his heart
His friends and family loved him, too.

A neighbor like no other
With wisdom, word and deed.
He lived the life he believed in,
And passed it on to his seed.

And I know somewhere in Heaven,
God built a Cowboy’s place,
And blessed it with all He could muster
Of His loving, caring grace.

I only knew Bob through the internet,
And yet I know it’s true –
I know as sure as I’m sitting here,
Bob — God saved a place for you.
